COMPETITION DETAILS

PART I: COMPETITION PROCEDURE AND GUIDELINE

 Registration procedure:

o PHASE I:
 Registration starts 20th April, 2010
 Registration forms to be handed in to the institutional rep along with the initial admission fee of Rs. 500.

o PHASE II
 The applicants will be sent a confirmation email after their registration.
 The photographs, which should be original and not copied, need to be submitted via email on the id: streetphotographers10@hotmail.com no later than 20th June, 2010
 The judgment criteria will be provided by the judges and they will be posted here as well.

 THEME: "SOCIAL MESSAGE"

 PRIZE MONEY:

1st Prize PKR 5000
2nd Prize PKR 3000
3rd Prize PKR 2000

PART II: WORKSHOP AND AWARD CEREMONY

 The award ceremony will be conducted along with the launch show of CA
 After a week or two, a Photography Workshop will be conducted.
 The winners will get free passes for the workshop.
 Judges will be our guest speakers and will most probably conduct two rounds of discussions for the audience:
o Presentations round on the photographs of the participants
o Practical demonstration of the typical mistakes that most people make during taking pictures for competitions
 Also there can be briefing on the use of editing softwares readily available for the professional touch in the photos.
